Well I think it would be an understatement to say
Matt and I have had a rocky start to the New Year.

With my 12 day old nephew passing away on Christmas Eve 

&

Matt's grandpa passing away January 12th.

We've been through an emotional rollercoaster.

Both experiences were so special and emotional to us I'd rather keep them to ourselves

cause we will never forget.

We are so blessed to have had Burton & Bill in our lives and we know we will continue to have them by our side.

We got together with Matt's family to reflect on Grandpa Bill's life & found a scripture that describes him perfectly...

Doctrine and Covenants 88:119: Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing; and establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God

We have seen so many miracles and have experienced some things that not many experience.
even in the midst of all this there is a silver lining.

Matt & I will officially start our new year and our resolutions this week...

We have so much to look forward to this year!

& the good news is it can only go up from here.
